As some of you, who know me, are aware I am a huge Red Sox fan. I am very excited that the home opener is also American League Opener and it will be at Fenway Park, Boston, MA. Even more exiting is that it will be on ESPN. So here we are Easter Sunday I am able to watch this great game, Red Sox vs. Yankees. It does not get much better than this.
As I am getting ready for this historic Rivalry, I have been reading J.P.Morosi's comments (a sports writer for FOXSports.com) and one particular question just made me pause. He asks "...will there be any extra venom among Red Sox fans this Sunday..." Is he kidding? Does he not understand the Red Sox Nation? The best rivalry in MLB: Red Sox vs. Yankees and he is wondering will there be extra venom? There will be, of course. Just the fact that it is not a day game is already fueling the Red Sox Nation on the East Coast.

10 Comments on The World Series in April: Wow I can not believe it Red Sox vs. Yankees home opener!
It looks like it was a great game, too, with the Sox winning 9-7. I don't watch too much baseball until the playoffs. 162 games is just too many. So I was watching the NCAA Women's Final four basketball games instead.
Jim this was a Nail Biter, at one point when Josh Beckett was pulled and the Sox were down 5 to 1 many of the fair weather fans gave up on them.....then the highlights Steve Tyler singing God Bless America and in the eigth inning Neil Diamond singing Sweet Caroline was just great. No I do not watch all 162 games, but this was a must see. Beating the Defending Champs sets the stage:)))
OK. OK. Nice come from behind victory last night Endre. But remember what happened last year.......!!!
Craig, Oh? I have selective memory....I remember 2004 & 2007 the rest of the years are a blur:)))Well I am cautiously optimistic about tuesday's game. BTW I am learning from you, I did not know how to put my face on the Jersey:))
Go slugger!! I love your #19! My favorite number -- I was born on the 19th (this month too!) GO RED SOX!!
Hey Carla a small setback yesterday's loss(:- Today will be the tell all:))) I have a showing at 4:00pm today so I have to listen to the first few innings in the car.....
