Worms on the carpet

A lot of dried worms on that carpet this week.  I toured a few homes that had worms on the carpet but the worms were all dried up.  I have no idea where these worms came from and wondering if any of you have ever toured some homes like this.  Perhaps the worms were coming from an opening in the house or something?  Any ideas?  Either way the worms in every home they were completely dried up.  They were in three homes that I toured this week.   All I could do is joke with the buyer as we toured the next home that didn't have worms and say well at least this home doesn't have worms!
