We're in a tough business going through tough times. For countless individuals in our industry, this is the first time they have gone through a business turn down and many just don't know what to do. Everyday I get emails asking for advice or telling me they are thinking about leaving the industry. What's sad is most of them (including their managers) truly don't understand the fundamentals of marketing nor exhibit the right attitude to build a thriving business outside of a booming market.
While it's extremely important they master the fundamentals of the mortgage business, they must also have the right attitude/fortitude to continue when they are thrown a curve ball.
