Short Sales and Sad stories.

Its hard to understand the woe that has went on in these peoples lives.  I have been brought to tears by some of the most heart wrenching stories of how they ended up in the position of losing their house.  You can see their pain and even more feel it.  From the loss of loved ones, jobs lost, illness, making much less or nothing at all.  Its truely painful to hear and feel their pain.  The great thing is they talk of hope, how their new job is less stressful but more satisfying.  How much they have grown, lost and gained and how they are ready to let go.  Let go of a house that was their Dream once.  Where they raised children and sat around the dinner table.  A House full of laughter and tears.  The world is always full of surprises.  One day everything was business as usual and the next big changes lurked on the horizon and then the changes grew and grew to the point of bursting into their calm business as usual worlds.  Foreclosure seems sad in and of itself but when you hear what brought these peoples lives to the point of where they are today.  Foreclosure or Short Sale is the end of a long series of painful events that maybe just maybe when its all over the reason for it all will reveal itself and I'de like to think rainbows  will appear and a Loud booming voice from above will say, I will never let this happen again.  I promise.

Shannon, I agree totally. What amazes me is the loss the bank is willing to take in a short sale or foreclosure but won't remodify the loan for the owner.
