I will send some sunbeams from Naples.  I know that feeling of waiting for summer.  I grew up in Northern Minn!  Spring is on the way!

It's nice to see some snow at this time of year.  We only had two snowfalls and very little other snow the entire winter.

Marc that is odd that you all did not get your snow this year... we have had an overabundance....last year was just the coldest year of record and this year we got more snow

Debi... yes I thought it would be good to add some colot for the positive thought process...so last year pictures of flowers remind us of waht is soon to be here!

Thank you all!

Debra,

It generally is much colder in Minnesota but not this year.  I think most of the winter I would shake my head in amazement at how wierd the weather was all over the country with the "fridgid north" not living up to it's name.  I am actually moving up to your neck of the woods, thankful that in theory your winters aren't as cold.  Maybe I should rethink that?

Gene... I am glad you are warm and dry...thanks for enjoying the photos

Faith...we are having more snow but it really pretty and with all the light we are getting it is a lot easier to take! See you when you get here!

Hi Debra, Great photos BTW. I was watching a news program about how these Moose interfere with traffic in the cities in Alaska and how they prefer to walk on trails or roads that have been cleared because they have great difficulty in deep snow and that many die being stuck in the snow and being hit by cars. They were stressing that their size also endangers people in cars because of size.

They do like to take the easy roads sometimes...they are mighty strong animals and I have seen them go thru snow piled to the top of their legs and not slow them down... and the are a real danger on the road... no one wins when moose and vehicles collide... they count the deaths and put them on billboards... you try to not hit a moose but they are so fast sometimes they come up and over the ditch and boom they are there... horrible...people have died too... small cars are no match for a moose... another good reason to drive trucks up here...

Debra,

Great photos!  Thanks for sharing your beautiful views.   You also took me by surprise with the last photo!   Great way to look forward to summer with visions of the warm and vibrant colors of the nasturtiums!
