The Waccamaw Sailing Club that was founded in 1970 is a great club to join to enjoy the nice amenities they have on Lake Waccamaw. We promote lake sailing in our group in Laurinburg, NC (75 miles away) on Lake Waccamaw as another fun activity for our members too.

Beyond having a charming downtown area, Laurinburg, NC has many things that attract visitors and retirees to town. Thanks to the strong equestrian program at St. Andrews Presbyterian College with over 100 horses and 200 students majoring in equestrian programs, Laurinburg, NC is becoming an equestrian community.
With St. Andrews, we have more emphasis on horses in our community and now we have more resources in this field. We have an abundance of farmland and we have several nice properties on the market in which to choose.
