First Time Buyers Need to Hurry At Lake Oconee

The Tax Credit for first time buyer purchases ends on April 30th 2010. You must close by June 30th 2010 in order to obtain the credit. If you have never purchased a home before, the first thing you need to do is get pre-qualified by a mortgage broker. Go to www.kellerwilliamslakeoconee.com and click on the SERVICE PROVIDERS tab and look under MORTGAGE BROKERS. Call a mortgage broker, and tell them you want to see if you qualify to purchase a home. They will pre-qualify you for FREE.

Then, contact one local Realtor to search for properties for you. You do not need to call every agent that has a property listed "FOR SALE!"
