Saturday morning at the office

The phone has been a bit quiet this morning and I was thinking that perhaps it ought to ring a bit more.  And that may be my biggest problem...how good are things?

We've had a lot of rain this month and the wild flowers in the mountains are phenomenal and the valley is lush green.  Don't know that I have even seen a better batch of flowers. I got some great pictures of them while I was checking out new construction on the Continental Divide Trail.  I had helped survey for and site a new section of the trail for the last two summers and it was great to see the newly constructed trail.  It is nearly a piece of art in the talus-laden back country of Colorado.

Meanwhile, I have a number of folks that are considering properties and my listed properties are getting shown.  I developing a class for the Colorado Associatio of Realtors and right now I'm feeling pretty good.

I guess an occasional time at the office with no phone ringing is OK.

           Colorado Columbine                                       and me!

Sounds like the perfect weekend...I love Colorado...I lived in Denver for highschool and joined the Marine Corps out there. I've always considered Colorado home...the mountains, Red Rocks, Boulder...it's the best...lots of undisturbed nature.

It does sound like the perfect weekend.  We spent an entire summer in Boulder, CO. Beautiful place - I sometimes we would have moved there.  Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Hi Mal,

I have done some good hikes lately myself, and am enjoying the flowers.  I have found that Saturdays have been much quieter than weekdays lately, and I guess the tourists are all hiking too.  There is nothing like Colorado summers, although I enjoy our winters a lot too.  They are so different, and both are so welcome when they finally show up!

Beautiful background Mal, but as a non-resident, could you tell me what  Talus is?

Mal:  Thanks for the explanation on TALUS, but why would you call it a hike?  Sounds to me more like mountain goats -leaping from rock to rock.  I salute you!

Great pics! I find myself at the office on Saturday mornings often in the same situation. I think a lot of buyers and sellers are on vacation or just enjoying our beautiful state! Things usually pick up for me when school is back in session. Nice post!
