Repeat Clients Are Worth Their Weight In Gold!!!

Repeat clients are indeed worth their weight in gold!!! If you, the agent, have done your job well AND kept in touch with your client AFTER closing, you should hear from them again and again! Perhaps THEY will not purchase again (yes, this does happen, that someone stays in a home for more than 5-7 years!) but they always have friends, colleagues, neighbors and children that are looking to purchase a home, condo, vacation cottage or lot. IF you have impressed your client with your service AND kept in touch, you will get referrals and repeat business from these clients for years to come!

Your former clients are such an IMPORTANT part of your success that you, the realtor, want to remember them! Send out cards when their anniversary comes around for the date they purchased that home! Send a couple of your business cards in that envelope! Don't forget them during the holidays either! It doesn't have to be a card if you send everyone an e-mail. Just remember to keep in touch and LET YOUR CLIENTS KNOW THAT YOU APPRECIATE THEM!

I know I would not be where I am today without my fantastic client base!!! You like to know that YOU are appreciated - well, so do your clients!!!! Remember that and let them know you remember!!!!!

It costs less and requires less effort to maintain current business than it does to develop new business.

Good post, BarbaraJo.

BarbaraJo:  It's amazing that so many Realtors® will lose touch with their former clients.  I get most of my business by referral and wouldn't think of not staying in touch with them.

Great post BarbaraJo, and so very true! This year I am buying a rose called "Evelyn" for all my clients and I will make a joke about it when I deliver them. They have to 1) love me, and 2) they won't forget me either!
