There's always something fun going on at the Heart Of Dixie Railroad Museum! One of their most popular events is A DAY OUT WITH THOMAS! Kids of all ages love riding on Thomas The Tank Engine! There will be lots going on......Sir Topham Hatt will be there, storytelling, videos, arts and crafts too!

This is a photo of my brother and sister-in-law, Alan and Ginger. Alan loves trains and has worked as a volunteer for the Heart of Dixie Railroad Museum for a long time! Now one of his duties is part-time engineer.......he will be driving Thomas The Tank Engine on Friday, April 9th and Sunday, April 11th. If you see Alan be sure to say hi!
OTHER SPECIAL EVENTS.....
Other special events during the year are the Cottontail Express, Steam Days, Pumpkin Patch Express and The Polar Express. Train rides are available throughout the year, and you can also plan a railroad birthday party or enjoy dinner aboard the William Penn, a refurbished dining car.
