Keeping Your Name In People's Minds

By
Real Estate Agent with Nextage Lone Star Realty 573155

The other day I was reading the blog posts from a friend of mine.  He started in real estate at the age of 18 and did quite well.  Now he trains Realtors on sales techniques.  His blog site is www.AgentJason.com and I recommend checking out his site.  Always full of useful tips.  The point of this particular post that I was reading was always keeping yourself, and what you do, in the minds of people and in doing so getting more online referrals from your customers, friends, past clients, etc.  In this internet world we find ourselves in, it makes complete sense to leverage such things as ActiveRain, Facebook, Twitter, and other sites to help your business grow.  Clearly we believe in the power of the internet or we would not find ourselves blogging and trying to keep in touch with others.  I read the article and it was that little push that I needed.  That reminded me to keep up with online referrals and continually keeping myself, and what I do (Real Estate) in the minds of others.

Here is a link to that article that you too may find helpful:

Jason,

Yes, it is so important to keep you name out their period..  So many agents have given up on real estate and it is important to let people know you are around, period!

Indeed Jason, this is a great reminder that we all need to go the extra mile in keeping our names out there, sometimes we may think that this will never work but eventually it pays off, thanks.

Marketing studies show that it takes 7 times repeating your name or face before people start to recognize you. Good article.

I'm currently reading "book yourself solid" which also offers some great advice on improving your referral rate.

Regardless of one's type of business, getting one's name out in view is the key to getting recognized.  Thanks for the reminder!  I'll take a look at the blog you recommend!
