Don't Miss the "Rodeo in the Ranch" in August!

If you have lived in Highlands Ranch any amount of time, you know that there are so many great activities to be enjoyed in this fabulous community.  And if you are just getting ready to move to Highlands Ranch, get your calendar out -because you are going to be filling it with all kinds of things going on.

The next big event that my own family is looking forward to is the "Rodeo in the Ranch"  On August 18 & 19 the land across from Town Center on Highlands Ranch Parkway will be transformed into a rodeo for all.  The rodeo begins at 4pm each day, but the grounds open at 1:30 for all sorts of other activities.  From what I have read there will be pony & carriage rides and the oh-so-fun-to watch Mutton Bustin' showdown will begin then as well.  If you have never seen Mutton Bustin'. its a kick - children (ages 4 - 7) strap on their helmet and ride away, holding on for as long as they can. 

Tickets for the rodeo are $10 for adults and %5 for kids (up to 12 years old, kids under 2 are free) and can be purchased at any of the rec centers now or at the gate the day of the Rodeo.
