I am hardcore car lover, I love the smell of new tires, the sound of a good exhaust and the horsepower behind a good engine. I must admit I do prefer an old American muscle car or an exotic sports car that would make your blood run cold if you had a chance to race down the Autobahn but if it's a car show in Austin, I'll take what I can get.
This car show started out as a small gathering on an old football field of car lovers, artists, musicians who had a common love for hot rods. The show has turned into an annual (this is the 9th year) tradition drawing in car fanatics from all over the country.
It is more than just a car show - they have a live music festival, unique shopping, a smorgasbord of local artists, food, drinks and fun times.
