I like this post. I have never used a live-in home stager. But I do agree staged homes photo, market, and show best in the medium price ranges up to luxury home market. Now my flip houses in economical neighborhoods I can sell before the countertops go in because it's hard to find fantabulous in those areas that are priced lower... so there's a fight before the finish line. But in the rest of the realistic world, for the most part, staged homes bring in top dollar in the quickest amount of time.

A vacant house is like a vacant stare. Something is just not right.

Those two photos speak volumes!! Amazing the difference the decor makes.  In the photos above they are a HUGE POSITIVE. In some cases the decor can be a negative as well.
