There are many possible reasons "why",...and probably the one most obvious is that there is so many different choices out there. It's no secret that the market is flooded with homes.
Now, the question is " what are you going to do about it?" You need to start dedicating some time into spiking up your game plan in "selling your home." Look, "right now", there's no better time to do just that !
(Spring has sprung,...the birds are singing and you are...'whistling while you work!.
All kidding aside, "you" must use this time to re-fresh your home for the "Spring Flow of New Prospects". I'm going to give you just a few really inexpensive tips that can really make a world of difference and won't hurt your pocket book.
1. Just by changing your Front Door can add "style and interest to your home." Remember, this is a first impression of your valued property and you want to "bring on" all the "welcome" a "first impression can offer." ( As you may have noticed there are many new styles out there at your home furnishing showrooms,..choose one that fits your exterior as well as your interior.) I like the English style panel doors that are out now. This will create a " first impression." If you can not afford a totally new entry door, try a blast of fresh paint color. ( That always makes a big difference too.)
2. Another very easy and inexpensive way to add "New Interest" and "Curb Appeal" to your home is to add some solar landscape lights. This will add and illuminate the pathway to your home. Remember, the pathway to your "front-door" is the main focal point, by illuminating again, you will create a feeling of friendly and welcoming! ( So,..try playing and being creative with landscape lighting.)
3. Adding shutters or accent molding and trim around windows is also a very inexpensive way to add "New Interest to your home.
4. Now, that "Spring has sprung", clean out and add new mulch to your flower beds and planters, "Leading to your Front door". Prepare your beds for your beautiful "new" fresh plant material.
5. Your tired Driveway. Most asphalt or blacktop driveways always can use a "re-Fresh". This will clean up most of the cracking from the harsh winter months. This can be professionally done by a contractor or you can buy a can of "velvet top",(from your home furnishings store) and do it yourself. It is not too difficult if you choose to do it yourself.
These are just a few quick and easy fixes that can create some "New Interest"...".right to your Front-door"!
Stay Tuned !
