Hi Jane.  This could definitely add to a home's curb appeal.  The most beautifully decorated house in the world won't make a difference if the outside is not inviting.

Hi Jane...Everything we do to make homes more energy efficient adds to their desirability by a growing number of buyers. It doesn't hurt when it makes them more attractive also.

Tht garage door makes me wonder what the rest of the home looks like. Very nice. What a cool teaser as well (LOL). :-)

I'm wondering what the purpose is for an insulated garage door. When I worked as a home inspector, we were always noting whether or not there was ventilation for the garage, either by vents in the garage door, vents in the wall, or vents in the roof. If there wasn't, it was recommended that they add ventilation, the reason being that with the car exhaust and fumes from appliances (washer, dryer) and equipment (lawn mower, paint, cleaners, etc.) in the garage, the air in the garage can become very toxic very quickly.
