Bob and Leilani - Wilton is one of those communities nestled comfortably between highway 99 and highway 16, which provides country charm, convenience of being close to the city, and access to the great historical sites of the California Mother Lode.  Simpson Ranch is a great opportunity for some fortunate buyer looking for a future home.

Looks like part of the ranch produces hay. What are the poor horses and cows going to eat when the hay is no longer produced because of development? I hope they leave that beautiful tree, too.

I assume it can't be subdivided - that would be a shame  Karen

Myrl, thanks for stopping by! Simpson Ranch is indeed a great opportunity to build a home. :)

Russel, this parcel (as well as the entire community) only allows building of one single-family residence, so there is plenty of acreage left for hay or any other agricultural use. Also, the trees were the selling point of the property...they definitely will stay! :)

Karen, you are absolutely right! This parcel cannot be subdivided, nor can any other parcel in the community. Wilton is a horse community, so most of their parcels are at least 5 acres in size. :)
