One of the most beloved events during the FESTIVAL is BOOKS IN BLOOM (www.booksinbloom.org). BOOKS IN BLOOM is hosted by the wonderful folks at the 1886 Crescent Hotel and Spa www.crescent-hotel.com in their award winning gardens. The Sunday event starts at noon and ends at 5:00 pm. Six authors will be present to visit with enthusiastic readers. This years line up includes the bestselling author of 15 books, Gail Sheehy (www.GailSheehy.com) Sheehy's book PASSAGES spent over a year on the NY Times bestsellers list. The event benefits the Carroll Madison Library Foundation ( www.cmlibraryfoundation.org)
The garden setting complete with folks in Victorian era garb will WOW you. The authors under white canopies, conversing and sharing insights into their work will inspire you. Come early and enjoy Sunday Brunch in the Crystal Dining room.
