ESTABLISH GOOD COMMUNICATIONS ...... THEN DO BUSINESS

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with people first...then business Ran Right Realty 636943 licensed to thrill

I meet various potential clients all week long. When we exchange contact data, I always ask them the following things...in regards to how they would like to be contacted?   They say....what do you mean......?

I then explain...... the various ways that I use and ask what them what would be their preference.

Phone call....do you have an answering machine so that I may leave a message? When is the best time to call you.

Texting...I am finding out they many people do not text nor do they want to text...but they know about it. This is one of my preferences.

Emailing....while well known and popular. However, sometimes it is not checked frequently by some. I ask how often do you check your email and respond to it. This is one of my preferences too.

Stopping by...if I am in the area, do you want me to stop in? When is the best times? I am always on the road, so this works too.

Lastly, by doing this, I let my clients know that I am available at all times and will respond. It also lets them be part of the Real Estate Team.

I want my clients and contacts to be comfortable with me and to want to take my communication. This quick 10 second dialog puts us all on the right track to do business.

IN THE END, GOOD COMMUNICATION ALLOWS US TO GET TO KNOW EACH OTHER BETTER

Good pointers, Richie.  They seem like they'd guide the conversation the way you'd like while letting the respoding think that he or she is "in control."
