McNair Town and Country Farm Hardware Store in Laurinburg, NC

Mortgage and Lending with Ditech Mortgage NMLS #70388

James "Coot" Pierce bought out his employer and has run one of the most unique stores in downtown Laurinburg in 1989, the McNair Town and Country farm hardware store.  This store, located at 121 Fairly Street in Laurinburg,NC has been in operation since 1882 and caters to the farmer in all of us.  He still sells nails and seeds by the pound, old fashion washboards, high wheel push plows and several new fancier cultivators.  What he gives you is plenty of good advice and if he doesn't have what you want, he'll order it for you.

For the gardeners, Coot carries a huge inventory of plants that are pulled out on racks daily along the sidewalk for your convenience.

Stores like Coot's are slowly becoming a distant and fond memory but McNair Town and Country is still a popular spot for whatever hardware the big stores don't carry and help make Laurinburg, NC a neat place to live.

Visit Coot and see if he has just what you were looking for.  He is open from 8 AM to 5:30 PM M-F and 8 AM to 1 PM on Saturday.

He can be reached by phone at 910-276-2812.
