Tomorrow I am taking a friend to peruse the computer isles. She is determined to become a "Silver Surfer" and I have been assigned the job of making it happen. Having grown up on PC's and very comfortable with them my tendency it to suggest she purchase the same. On another note I have a client who has been a "Silver Surfer" for many years with a Mac. She purchased it at the Apple store along with a package of classes to help her over the humps as she needed. She is extremely happy with her Mac and is frequently taking classes to understand one program after another as she progresses. I'm not sure if Dell or HP offers this service so my question to all who would care to participate is, if you were given the task of being a computer tutor which way would you go.... PC or Mac?

Barbara, you're probably going to get lots of opinions on either side. The MAC diehards swear by them, as do the PC types. See what your friend is more comfortable with.
