OREGON CITY FACTS

I have looked through this website and seen many good blog posts with facts on particular cities.  So, I decided that posting on Oregon City would be beneficial to some.  Most people can locate these things on the web themselves, but I am hoping to put together a comprehensive listing of relevant information.  If you feel as though something is missing, please do feel free to let me know, as I want for this to be of value!

Oregon City is known to be the "City of Firsts", as it was the first city established west of the Mississippi.  It was the first capital of Oregon, had the first Protestant church registered, the first trading post, and more.  It is the goal of most Oregon City enterprises to maintain that tradition in "pioneering" the future!  What a terrific sequeway into the Oregon City School District!  Above the door of most OC School District Buses, it reads "Pioneering the Future".  The Pioneers are the High Schools mascot.  Now, then would be a terrific time to relay the public school District information to you ~
