This weekend, our local Farmer's Market opens! I've been waiting all winter for this- fresh vegetables and all manner of stuff (no live animals) are sold at the Market. Our county is getting known more and more for the Organic farming going on here, and we are seeing more lots of out of county license plates parking at the Market, too- even some out of state plates! Our market started several years ago, when a local woman wanted to have an outlet for locally grown produce and products. The local bank donated the parking lot on the town square and the rest was history!
I encourage you to visit us on a Saturday morning between 8 and noon to buy some of the best locally grown and organic produce around!
