Recently I blogged about using Neighborhood Assistance Programs to help homebuyers with the purchase of a house, and it couldn't have been more timely. NACA aka Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America, is currently hosting it's "Save the Dream Tour" and it kicks off today on Miami Beach, FL. It will run for 5 continuous days; ending on Monday April 19th. Other cities are also lined up for the tour.

This tour is geared toward "At Risk" homeowners, and people that are interested in home ownership. I love that NACA provides this outlet that focuses not only on helping current homeowners, and potential homebuyers, but they also provide intense workshops that educate and bring awareness of what it really takes own a home.

The workshops are intense, and you are required to show up and put in the work; however, at the end of the day it's all about commiting to a greater cause, and reaping the benefits in return. "At Risk" homeowners can permanantly reduce interest rates, and homebuyers can get fixed loans with low interest rates, and no down payment is required.

I feel that a lot of times people get caught up in the excitement of owning a home that their focus is just to get in the house they've always dreamed about. In essence, the focus need to be extended to what it actually takes to maintain a home. For example, mowing the lawn, possible plumbing and electrical issues, unexpected forces of nature (tornadoes, hurricanes, floods and earthquakes etc.) are just a few issues that homeowners are faced with.

I am 9 months behinded in my payments I have tryed naca no hlep I ask citibank for amorforcationI donot meet the bill for that so I have a compay called dreamhouse helping me to get mordforcationat the begining of april. maybe you can tell me what to do this is my frist place if I  kwen it was this bad I should have kept my aptarment.
