Does Anyone Care About The Truth Anymore?
The Center on Budget and Policy Priorities - a non-partisan research and policy institute - states that "middle-income Americans are now paying federal taxes at or near historically low levels."
It therefore makes no sense that the majority of the "Tea-baggers" who are protesting against the current administration's policies are so upset about the current levels of federal taxation.
Tea Party protesters are being stirred up by the likes of Sean Hannity and Sarah Palin - conservative Republicans who spew out meaningless Republican rhetoric.
Tea Party activists are protesting against excessive taxation and government spending.
The protesters claim to be patriots, protecting the country and the Constitution upon which it was founded.
Supporters of the Tea Party strongly oppose the new Health care Bill which extends benefits and protections to millions of Americans.
Where does this Bill not protect the country and its citizens? Where does it violate the Constitution?
In my opinion the Tea Party consists of very frightened people - people who are scared of progress and change, and their only excuse for opposing this progress is this false claim to be protecting the Constitution.
