The new HRM 4 Pad Arena Complex has been in the making for many years and for many people, couldn't come sooner.
This state of the art facility will address a long-standing need for additional ice surfaces in the Halifax Regional Municipality and will include; 4 NHL size ice pads, a sports retail store, food and beverage areas and outdoor sand volleyball courts. Participants from hockey, ringette, sledge hockey, figure skating, indoor/outdoor volleyball and many other sports will utilize this facility.
This map is the most updated that can be located online. The X indicates the location of this sign and entrance off the Hammonds Plains Road where the 4 pad is located in the background. The following photo shows the progress. We who live in the area are pretty excited about the development of this structure and are anxiously awaiting its opening.
