Horses running HORSES YES!

One of the questions you will find when entering information into our Multiple Listing, is "Horses" Y  N.  Coming from the Midwest, specifically Northern Indiana, the only horse you would see would be on the television.   So it was no wonder that I would always giggle when I was asked to answer Yes (Y) No (N)  about horses when taking a listing.

Somehow I forgot where I was, OUT WEST!  Horses were the only means of transportation in the early days.  They help herd cattle, pulled wagons across the desert landscape, ploded fields, and were a faithful companion to the cowboy or ranchers and their families.  Even though the horse has been replaced with a Mustang (Ford), horses are still a very important part of the Arizona lifestyle.

Rodeo's, Equestrians shows, and riding stables are available for your enjoyment.  If you are looking to purchase a home that is specifically zoned for horses, there are many available.  If you are visualizing old barns, and haylofts, you will be surprised to find custom homes with white picket fences located on acres of land.    Interested?

Call or email today, I will send you the listings.

I think that's a question here too.  We do have a lot of areas with horse properties.  Can't imagine that question in New York City.

We don't have horse Y or N on our MLS.  We have horsey areas out in the boondocks surrounding Columbus though. Years ago I sold acreage to a couple from Florida who wanted a horse farm.  They moved back to Florida a couple of years later.

Horses as a real estate choice would make me laugh too.
