The total number of townhouses that sold in the 1st Quarter of 2010 in McLean climbed back to 12 after dropping to 8 and 7 in the 1st Quarters of 2009 and 2008, respectively. In another sign that the market has rebounded, the Median DOMP dropped to 78 in the 1st Quarter 2010, the fewest days of any of the previous 1st Quarters except for 2006, when the DOMP was 65 for the 1st Quarter that year.
The Median List and Median Sold were the lowest in the 1st Quarter 2010 than any of the previous four 1st Quarters, although I know prices have started to rise and this should be reflected in the 2nd Quarter 2010 numbers. Please see the chart below for more information. Data is gleaned from the MRIS.
