SentriLock, an electronic lockbox provider owned in part by the National Association of Realtors and hopefully is the choice of HUD.
As we all know HUD is making electronic lockboxes mandatory. As I understand, MCB was awarded the nationwide Mortgagee Compliance Manager (MCM) contract from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. This should make MCB responsible for the expense of the lockboxes (they will get reimbursed from HUD), a major concern and relief for the HUD listing brokers.
Why SentriLock?
•· Safety!
•· If your office or agents don't want to participate, they don't have too!
•· The real estate agent can issue one day codes for agents that don't participate.
•· There are no boundaries. Any licensed agent can be given access with a code.
•· The codes: you can issue a code for today and also set codes for future dates.
•· I want to know who is going in and out.
•· The system works with Showing Desk / Showing Time.
•· Contractors designated by HUD will have there own codes for access.
•· Internet based administration.
•· The access card is the size of a credit card.
•· The access card could also be used by the State of Michigan to track con- ed.
•· The access card could be an actual pocket card also, DLEG must allow.
There is so much more....
Good Luck SentriLock...
