I was sent this YouTube Video by Steve Zehngut and tried, but could not resist posting here. That's right, it has no redeeming value apart from humor. I laughed so hard my stomach cramped up. So, this is either as funny as I think it is or a sure sign I need to start working out again. Either way, you're getting it. "Perhaps even harder hit was America's blogging community... " Simply hilarious.
I laughed out loud (couldn't help myself) when Tony Snow was quoted as saying they didn't have a back up but they were always meaning to get around to it. What a hoot! I feel like control alt deleting myself.... Thanks for the laugh!

I am currently sitting here in beautiful Los Gatos at the equally beautiful home of Mary Pope-Handy giddy with anticipation. in just 18 1/2 hours I will be at Blogger's and Beer meeting some of the folks that I have known only here as pixels.

The NY Transit system was at the top of a list of the main reasons I wanted out of there. I don't take public transportation, too many bad experiences.
I didn't feel the quake down here, but I just told a client on Saturday that I thought we were way overdue, I have not felt one for years, don't care if I never do, that is just fine with me.
Now that was hysterical! Have a wonderful time!!!! My favorite chinese restuarant is Hunan Home on Jackson Street in San Francisco. I even carry their business card in my wallet.
This is great..I am actually relieved that there is a semi-decent plan in place incase this ever happens!!! :-) Think about all the other disasters that never even had an emergency plan! I guess a tragedy like this could really cause alot of people to "alt/control/delete" themselves like the stock market crash many moons ago!
I have to start being careful about all the windows I open at a time :-) I especially loved what they said about the blogging community being hit and all the minutia that was lost. . .
OMG that was hysterical! I actually got a call asking if the entire Internet was down when I did tech support. Between the scrolling news stories (Albuquerque got a mention!) and the press conference that was funny! But when they got to passing out poems, diet tips, and gossip in the streets for emergency matters I had tears running down my checks from laughing so hard. I tried to view this yesterday and it wasn't working glad I came back! Thanks!

Oh, Good Lord! If this ever happened, we would all surely be in deep trouble. When you think about it, though, who's to say something like this couldn't happen? Say we hit a global energy crisis - something to think about. What was that? "I feel like CTRL-ALT-DLTing myself" - HILARIOUS . . . for now. LOL
