Prices at the pump are going down...average price of a gallon of gas in Las Vegas today was $2.92. I've seen it a lot cheaper than that...one place was as low as $2.75. I filled up yesterday for $2.80.
Christmas in July - BIG KUDOS to Walker Furniture of Las Vegas...they brought a special treat over the weekend to a 10-year-old who is battling cancer - a new bed. The girl has a tumor in her head and the hospital would not release her unless she had a bed of her own to sleep on at home. Not only did Walkers Furniture provide her with a new bed but they also gave the family new dressers and couches. (I LOVE feel good stories like this)
