"To Get Something You Never Had, You Have To Do Something You Never Did" (Anonymous)

It only makes sense. To become the success you envision yourself to be, you will have to do things you have never done before. All of us have been through this sequence many times in our lives and it is the formula for growth in all areas of our lives.

Real Estate Delaware County PATo be a fully active professional in the Real Estate business in this day and age you will have to push yourself to do things more with technology and the internet. It is a given. We have all entered into something that has never been done before and that is what is so exciting. We do not know where this will all lead, but the promise of attaining something we never had using technology is very strong. I look at people talking on their cell phones or with their bluetooth devices in their ears and I think of how main stream these activities have become when such activities were only in the imagination of Sci-Fi writers and TV producers not too long ago, as in the early episodes of Star Trek in the 1970's. And what did it take for these devices to become main stream: people dreaming, pushing the envelope and doing things that had never been done before.

Real Estate Delaware County PAWhen I read this anonymous quote it challenges me, makes me realize that the dreams I have are truly attainable if I just keep stretching myself, keep pushing my comfort zones, and continue to learn and grow.

What are the new things you have to do to attain the dreams you hold so dear?

The statement is so true...  So that makes you think how many people give up before even trying?

Well, I've never robbed a bank, but somehow I don't think that's what you mean. LOL

It's too bad that's anonymous because it's a great truth.

Thanks for the provocative thought, Gloria.  As a children's book author, I also have to learn to do more with technology.  So I'm doing something I've never done before-- commenting on a blog post!

"Anonymous" has poor grammar.  "Had" and "did" are pure past tense verbs describing specific events.  Since you're really referring to indeterminate states, the correct phrasing would be, "To get something you have never had, you must do something you have never done."

Frank, At least "Anonymous" is spelled correctly.  Thanks for the correction.
