Who Is A Good Referral

Who Is A Good Referral?

Anytime I am asked for a referral for anything; from a travel agent, a dentist or a good restaurant, the first thing that comes to mind is who can I refer that will represent the qualities I find important. I want the person I am referring to have a fantastic vacation, no pain in their mouth and a satisfied pallet!

I have expectations for the company or person I am referring my beloved family, friends and co-workers to. I expect that my word of quality service to be gold. It reflects on me. I would never refer someone to a company that I knew would not provide the care and treatment that I would expect. Just like I would not refer someone to a job that I knew was lazy or did not show up on time. It would represent me on that employers mind as perhaps not a good judge of character.

I look at the referrals I receive in the same manner. Someone has confidence enough in my ability to provide quality service to refer me to their friend or loved one. They know when I receive a referral from them I will treat them as I would treat my referral source.

  • R ~ Respect for my clients
  • E ~ Exceed expectations
  • F ~ Friendly, funny, fun to be around!
  • E ~ Energy that reflects the love of my job
  • R ~ Realist. I am always open and honest
  • R ~ Return all phone calls and email
  • A ~ Action speaks louder than words
  • L ~ Listening to the needs of my clients

Thank you for all of the referrals I have received. I will continue to represent my clients as a great REALTOR® should. I love this business and love educating my clients in the area of Real Estate. Got someone you want to refer? Send them my way! I promise you won't be sorry!

Are you a good referral?

What a great post and a great way to remind us how important it is that we establish relationships and friendships built on respect.  I would never want anyone to regret giving my name as a referral.

A referral is the greatest compliment that one can give. We treat a referral like would a best friend or a family member, it is just too important to chance.

Stephanie-

I like your attitude toward referrals. The funny thing is that we work so hard to earn just a lead that we can turn into a client, then we get a gift(referral) and forget how hard it is to get business. Kinda funny, oh wait, Kinda sad!
