Cedar City Real Estate Is Bustling With Buyers Looking To Buy Before 4/30/10!

Will they still love us tomorrow (or rather after April 30)?  I am going to go out of my normal sphere of saying, "I don't have a crystal ball," by answering that query with a resounding, "Yes! I believe they will!" 

The buyers we have been working with really seem to want to own their own homes.  They seem to believe this is a great time to buy while interest rates and prices are low and while home inventory is high.  From what I'm seeing, many buyers are only hurrying because they think it would be fun to have an extra $8,000.  I'm not getting the impression from them that they are only buying a home to get the $8,000.  Has your experience matched mine, and do you all join me in that train of thought?

I had a buyer tell me last week that she and her husband want to wait until the frenzy dies down to look for homes after April 30.  She said $8,000 was not worth making them feel rushed to make a decision as important as where they will live and raise their family for many years to come.

I do believe home ownership is the important thing.  The $8,000 will come and go, but the satisfaction and joy that come from home-ownership are here to stay.  That's the American dream, and I love helping real estate dreams come true.

Janet we have the same here as well and everybody is waiting and watching to see what effect the end of Tax Credit season will have on the market.
