Do you see alot of First time buyers buying in your area?

The first time home buyer's are buying at Lake Oconee. We have 4 under contract and 2 offers just came in. This would be that 120,000-140,000 range. I few of these have been short sales and foreclosures and the bank is paying closing cost and the builders are losing money selling these homes at this price. Most of these homes sold for the 159,000 range 2-3 years ago. Now they are going for 20,000 to 30,000 less and intrest rates are low so it is a great tiime to buy!!! Plus the tax incentives!!!! WIN WIN WIN for the buyer. Just make sure you get a warranty for these homes becasue alot of the builders are not providing them.
