The World's Smartest Tree Lives in Perry County, Alabama.
I have no way to prove that this tree is intelligent, and no real way to measure the cognitive ability of a plant in the first place. I do know this tree caught my eye as having landed in an ideal spot.

This tree sprouted in this well/ watering hole and grew to maturity in the only safe place in the surrounding pasture. Landing in a location guarded by a fortified wall protected it from cows and hay cutters, and the moisture in the well assured it would have the water it needs to thrive.
