WORDLESS WEDNESDAY: SANDPOINT SPRING means intense tennis...Don't mess with the fantasy!

I think it was the movie, "WEIRD SCIENCE" where my favorite line was revealed..."Don't F#%* with the fantasy!".  Moving to Sandpoint (full-time, that is) in 2005 was the answer to all my searching..."most" of my fantasies.

Today I rode the BMW to the Sandpoint/Post Falls tennis match (I coach the Sandpoint HS tennis team when I'm not selling real estate) and watched my team, once again, perform almost flawlessly.  (That's the Beamer in the background of the first picture).  It's all part of the fantasy...and here, the fantasy is real.  I've been a lot of places...I guess I'm just lucky to have found the spot that nurtures my soul.

I will say this...all the accolades Sandpoint has received over the past few years, certainly are well deserved from my (rather biased) perspective.

The snow-capped peak in the background is Baldy Mountain.  Sandpoint is in the white jerseys.  Life here is good!

(By the way, we won...9-3)

I immediately spotted the wrapped knee. Not a good sign at such a young age. This is coming from a 20+ year aerobics instructor who did many stupid things when she was younger. These knees are not very happy anymore! >.< Ouch!  Oh well. At that age, he has many years before it catches up to him. Just enjoy it while you can? I suppose I'd probably make the same mistakes again. *sigh*

Great shot, BTW ;-)

Hi Lisa - You won't believe this.  One month ago today, Kevin received third degree burns on his leg and (gloved) left hand at a bonfire.  It's a miracle he's playing today. He won this match 6-1, 6-1.  (His knees are fine).

Kent, it is certainly a beautiful area!  That is a cool side note about Kevin, I hope that will make a full recovery and won't scar too badly!

Hi Kent - Great way to be involved with the community by coaching tennis, and congrats to the team on the win! Are you sure you wouldn't rather be riding the motorcycle?

Kent, you certainly do know how to live! Skiining in the winter, switch out the skis for a Beemer bike and a tennis racket.

You got it made, and selling those wonderful homes on top of everything!!!

Thanks Tony!  Kevin is a great kid and, as you can see, he is moving well.

Hi John - Don't worry, I get my riding in...every day to the top of Schweitzer Mountain where my office is.

Hey Andrea - You are right!  No complaints.  I even had a nice little sale on Sunday (I need a few more to sustain the "fantasy"!)
