2.  Togethertag.com.  Report your missing pet to local shelters, create missing-animal flyers and alert other animal owners nearby.


3.  Fidofinder.com.  This is the world's largerst public database of lost and found dogs.

 

4.  Tabbytracker.com.  Fido Finder's kitty-centered sibling site has more than 44,000 registered cats.

My last dog got loose when cleaners were at my house and was gone for a day * I cried all night and was so upset and tired the next day the neighbor kids had to knock on my door to tell me my dog was in my yard * stinky and covered with horse poo * I think he did NOT like sleeping in a barn the night before.....

Living in the country * a photo on some flyers on telephone poles and post office will usually work; however, these sites are a GREAT resource

Philip, Yes I forgot about rewards that are offered. I would be glad to return a pet to his owner and not expect a reward.
