Yesterday was Monday, and my week is off to a much better start. I'm hoping that this week will be fantastic, and that I will also get my minibreak in on Friday and Saturday. (Maybe part of Sunday, too!)
Yesterday, I showed two houses and wrote two purchase agreements. Can you get any better than that? I'm completely pumped. For those of you who don't believe me about multiple offers, I'm in the situation AGAIN on one of them, and the other I think we have.
The inspection is happening on my newly pended property, and I have my fingers crossed. They are there now. Everyone wish me luck! :)
Last night I got home at eight and had a frozen pizza (I KNOW! I shouldn't have!) and solidified the "sit" concept with the puppies, and worked on teaching them to come when called.
I'm still a little sleep deprived, but I stayed home on Sunday and answered a couple calls (I'm negotiating another deal on top of the ones I previously mentioned!) but took a nap in the afternooon and taught the puppies how to sit. I also taught Shiloh how to "stand up" on her hind legs. I love her, because she learns both verbally and with hand signals, and she learns quick. She now knows that a thumbs up means "stand up". Then Nick and I drove over to Hinckley to see Harry Potter.
Now if only I could master potty training.
On Saturday I ended up at the office in the morning, and my house was a pig sty from the week before. Because I was never home, it never got cleaned. (Imagine that!) When I got home from the office, I found marshmallows stuck to the carpet throughout the old house. Apparantly Nick left the marshmallows out and the cats decided to chew the bag open, and then carry them around. No blaming of the puppies - they were with me at the office!
I promptly called my mom (quite distraught) because I was about to have a large number of people at my house for a bonfire, but everyone was going to stick to the carpet, if they even dared to come into the mess in the first place. A few minutes later my little brother arrived on his bike, and he helped me vaccum and clean. My sister came shortly after and started mopping the floor, and she brought ammonia, which was a huge help. Then my mom arrived with her carpet shampooer. My house looks MARVELOUS now. I couldn't have done it without them!
So now I get to go home to a clean house and two puppies who know how to sit, one beagle who can add "stand up" to her list of tricks, a lab who doesn't understand ANYTHING we say, and a small farm of cats. I can't wait.
It's so nice to have a normal week again!
Hi Joslyn! Remember me? Well I'm sure you'll have a great week. Once you build a momentum it's a matter of keeping it going. So keep it going :)
