(not so) Wordless Wednesday...
I don't know about y'all, but this week has been a blur. Between working in the business, on the business, and giving folks THE business, here it is Wednesday evening and I have only written 2 posts for the week!

With all the warm weather we have been having it looks as if all the critters have come out of hibernation. Although, cute, these little buggers can really wreak havoc on a garden and my Koi pond. H-m-m-m, looks as if I will have to start my chipmunk relocation program again this year.

Michael, but the little guy is so cute!  We have racoons that like to go fishing in back yard ponds.  They're harder to evict!

Michael,  okay, I will bite.......I have lived in Montana and Colorade and have had to "relocate" a bear or a racoon...but a chipmunk?  Pray tell, how is it done?  Are they like the aforementioned and have a "homing device" innately?  Do you relocated the siblings? LOL!   Oh, yeah!  What do they do to the Koi pond?  I really wonder...........

Deborah, I catch them in a humane trap and take them down to the wild life preserve a few miles down the road. The reason for the relocation is that they love to burrow around the Koi pond. Every now and then, they chew a hole in the liner and I have to dismantle and drain the pond down to the level of the hole and patch it...

Micheal ~ But how can a critter as cute as he is be so mischievous?

Dawn, I admit they are cute, but they can be a real pain. That is the main reason that I catch them and transport them. If I didn't like them, I'd pepper them with my pellet rifle...

Michael, This week has been crazy for me too. It's nice that you go through the trouble of relocating these little guys. Maybe you should build them a little home of their own at the preserve. jay

Funny but, the first thought that came to mind was, "OH, how CUTE!"  Seems that what everyone else was thinking too!  Glad you're busy in the business--that's a good problem to have not posting because you're busy!

Have a great Thursday...

Michael, I'm with you, this past week has been a blur.  The phones are ringing, we're busy, listing, selling, inspections and learning about this industry and the changes.  That little guy is so cute, we have a few around our house.  Too bad they can be so destructive at times.
