Eat Your Veggies and Fruits

By

I want to talk about an article that was recently in our local paper.  It was about a 7 year study of women who had breast cancer and were effectively treated.  They told the women to eat a certain amount of veggies and fruits and to keep track of the calories they consumed.  This was to determine what effect the veggies and fruits had on breast cancer reoccurring.  At the end of this study, they determined that eating fruits and vegetables had no effect whatsoever in stopping cancer from reoccurring.

I'm a breast cancer survivor and although I had surgery, I decided to go the natural route and refused radiation and chemotheraphy.  What the study neglected to tell you is that the women still ate meat, dairy, white flour, sugar, caffeine, alcohol and didn't exercise.

The health industy is so afraid of people actually being healthy that they only give you the facts that support their side of an issue.

The truth is fruits and vegetables do help, but you also need to drink raw vegetable juices, not eat any meat, fish, dairy, white sugar, and white flour.  You need to limit your caffeine and alcohol and you must exercise. There's a lot more to being healthy and cancer free than just fruits and vegetables.  It's an entire way of life.

I could go on and on about this, but for anyone who is interested, check out http://www.hacres.com and read the health tips and testimonies of thousands of people who had cancer and many other diseases and how they were cured or improved their health through their diet.

You can also read the book "The China Study" by T. Colin Campbell, PHD and read about the most comprehensive study of nutrition ever conducted and how the health industry destroys anyone who dares to go against what they want the public to know.

Very interesting blog. Thanks for the link I'm going to check it out. I have recently cut out red meat, white flour, white rice, sugar, soda, and anything fun like chips, eclairs, donuts. :)  I stopped eating fast food years ago and its made a huge difference on how I feel. Maybe I can take it a step further for my allergies and circulation problems.

Hi Pam,  Feel free to contact me anytime if you have any questions about the diet.  It's been over 3 years since I had cancer, and I'm doing great.  My husband also follows the diet and at 56, he can outwork any of his young employees.

I think diet plays more than a significant role in our health issues.  Second only to state of mind.  A good attitude, the desire for happiness and a great diet mindful of our bodies needs are powerful weapons to protect our health.

Hi Darrel,  I totally agree with you.  A positive attitude goes a long way in healing the body.  You can have good diet habits, but if you don't really believe in what you're doing, it isn't enough.  I have a friend with cancer who tried the diet, but didn't really believe it would help her.  In the long run, she stopped eating well and her cancer came back.

Hi Evie,

Please feel free to email or call me anytime to discuss the diet and cancer.  I've done extensive research and truly believe that the natural way is the only way to go.  People just don't realize how bad radiation and chemotheraphy are for you and that they can cause cancer down the road.  Good luck.

Joyce,

I read that article you mentioned.  I don't believe the positive values of fruits and vegetables were adequately represented in their research.   I wonder what protocols they instituted in their case study.

I'm always skeptical of the way certain "experts" portray the results of a particular survey. Statistics can usually be skewed to present one view or another.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us, and thank you for another great blog post on AR!

Joyce, found this post through your comment on my blog and I'm glad I did.  I cut the simple carbs out of my diet and I feel so much better and look so much younger.  As a household we lost about 150 lbs over the last year, cutting the white flour, sugar and white rice and replacing them with double the fruit and vegetables and brown rice.

Another wonderful story of suvivorship.  I was inspired by another AR member Karen George who is battling the disease right now.  If you haven't read her story go to this link.  I am in the process of setting up screening in my community.  STAY HEALTHY AND BLESSED!
