Well, after a full 31 days for this contest, there were only 9 entrants that followed the directions for the contest. (STEP 8 - AND POST A LINK TO THE POST HERE IN THE COMMENTS.) Sorry, to all those of you that wrote a post and only submitted it to the group. RULES ARE RULES. (Someone has to enforce them.)

(This comment is being provided thanks to George Souto - see his comment below)
Of the 9 entrants, 1 disqualified herself, even though I am sure we would all love to find sanctuary in her family room playing PS3 or reading a book or just spending time with her and her family. Another was tossed to the curb like yesterday's garbage for playing golf with only one of the 2 Average Joes and hiding it from the other for at least a month. (I feel so left out now.) So, that left 7 entries for the judges to review. (By the way, unlike the other contests, the judges will remain anonymous.)
Here goes...
1st Place - 600 Points will be awarded to Jeff Belonger for his post on Ocean City, NJ. If Jeff ever leaves the mortgage industry, he can always get a job writing reviews for vacation destinations.
2nd Place - 500 Points will be awarded to Lysa Napolitano and her not so typical biker bar. I am just curious about the golfers that mentioned... do they have special carts with the loud mufflers like their bikes? If so, can I get one? J
3rd Place - 400 Points will be awarded to Harold Watts for giving a Koffi shop, other than Starbucks, credit for a place to escape from a busy day at the office (or at least a last chance sanctuary before going to the office). Harold, keep the day job... singing is not for you.
As an added bonus for the top three winners, their posts will be featured on Localism.
Honorable mention goes to Janet Guilbault, Carmen Rivero, Suzanne Sanda, and Jason Sardi.
Congratulations to all those who entered the contest. There were some great posts that were written (even the ones that did not follow the rules). For a complete list of all entries, click here or search for them amongst the posts in the NWBA group.
WOW... Jason..... I forgot all about this. Thanks for the funny commentary at the end. Maybe I could be the next Julie McCoy from the Love Boat. I do have the legs.... lol Seriously, thanks for putting this together....
