This electrical panel was installed incorrectly and could be a disaster to the homeowner some day due to electrical fire or shock. THis needs to be done by a professional electrician, and inspected.

Inspection Photo of the Day...
     Electric panels. In Davidson Country/Metro Nashville, rehabs that under go an electrical upgrade must conform to current standards. Such was the case in an inspection. A new box was installed but the installation was not up to current standards
.
     A novice might notice the missing breaker in the lower right, but an experienced inspector see's much more than that. The litany is as follows:
     Arc Fault breakers for bedroom circuits not installed
     Panel legend not in place
     Missing handle ties on 220/240 circuits {There were 3 sets of these (see inset to right. the bottom breaker is correct)}

     These were some of the issues I found before I removed the panel cover. There were more issues inside. I scratched my head and wondered, who is sleeping on the job, or is this just another drive-by inspection by the metro codes department...

Good for you!    I had an electrical box that had water running through it this winter - how's that for a surprise?
