Reasons to Blog

Blog evangelists such as myself go on about the countless reasons to start and maintain a blog. I could rattle off a bunch of reasons why I blog but I'm really curious why others do. I'm sure many have the same intentions that I have but I've got to imagine there are people blogging for reasons that haven't even crossed my mind. Only one way to tell and that's to get a master list going. So, I'll get this started and leave the rest to you!

I agree with both of the above, but originally started a blog for web presence and as a journal.  Incorporating RSS feed is becoming more important now as different blogs have different platforms.  We must provide more valuable, relevant and timely content than can be accessed through the MLS too since the advent of IDX.  Information and expertise is what we are noted for and the better you can be providing it hopefully the more business you are able to generate.  Also we have certain channels on some of our blogs that target certain markets we are working in.

Blogging is new to me, I have never done it before, but I am definately seeing the benefit of it. The networking and the information shared here is amazing. I am very thankful my Manager got some of us involved in this site, it is great!

Blogging is another way to get information to the public. It is another service that helps my listed properties in addition to websites, and advertising. And it is a wonderful way to stay in touch with top agents through sites like ActiveRain.
