Introducing Biznik - Business Networking that doesn't Suck

I recently found Biznik through an Event advertised in the Seattle Times.  Each week I receive an email including Events for business networking.  I was immediately impressed with the ability to actually get out and meet people in a social setting, and offer free classes.  Even more, it is available for people living anywhere.

After setting up a profile you have an opportunity to interact with Biz Talk, "word of mouth for all to hear". 

The Events section allows you to view who is sponsoring, who is attending, send your RSVP, and "to build the foundation of every business relationship: trust".

If you want to view Members, this includes a Search, Invite, and other features.  You can see who is new, online, hosted the most events, recently updated their profile, and updated their "needs".  Yes, you can share exactly what you need in your profile that also appears on the Welcome page.

I attended my first event last night and am pleasantly surprised by how friendly everyone was.  They game me a definite feel for wanting to refer business to each other and create lasting relationships.

Knowing how fast the Active Rain community has grown and how we are all benefiting from each other, I find Biznik to offer similar qualities with the extension of getting out and meeting people.  I encourage you to take a look and get started by creating a profile to expose your business!
