Earlier this year I had an idea to create a directory of businesses within the subdivision that I live and work in. So I sent out 1000 letters to the homeowners suggesting the idea and giving them a response date. Well, I had an overwhelming response and put together the business directory. By the way, I hired a graphic designer and had them professionally printed! I didn't want them to look to homemade.

I then hand delivered some and hired a local teen to walk the streets and hand deliver them too. The comments and feedback have been terrific. I plan to hand them out at open houses and deliver them to new homeowners. I have already had calls and emails asking to be included and when the next print will be.  Next time, I may offer discounts to homeowners etc.
