Speechless Sunday (almost!): Hula anyone?

Speechless Sunday (almost!): Hula anyone?

While out doing yard work, I happened to see this tree we planted several years ago blooming out. Prior to today, I had not seen it all dressed up in its finery. And the first thing that came to mind was the grass skirts that hula dancers wear when performing and when a slight breeze stirred, they started dancing, swaying back and forth!

What comes to your mind?

Happy Sunday to you all!

Was it warm enough for the Hawaiian dancers to be performing before your eyes. It certainly was warm enough for the tree dancers to be performing. Have a great Sunday.

Cal, I have an overactive imagination and could actually visualize hula dancers when I saw this and ran to get the camera!

Spring is happening all around and I'm trying to capture it all Craig!

Now that you mentioned that, I can see that too! Thanks Valerie!

Thanks Rich, They are quite beautiful and a new find for me! I've never seen this before!

Wanda, I came up with the same answer as Valerie #11...some sort of fireworks.

Wondering what the name of this neat tree is? We are always looking for the unusual to plant around the home.

Hi Trey, I though it was an Elm tree but my husband says it's some type of Oak tree. They sure are pretty when they leaf out!

Thank Diane, When I started looking around, I noticed more trees like this, I thought there was onlt one.

John, That is something I can definitely relate to...the imagination takes off and  Mother Nature doesn't charge admission to participate!
