So this blog is will put me to 20,000 points, I am the number 1 agent as far as points in the city that I specialize in Sandy, Utah. I think I write good blogs that are relevant and interesting locally.

BUT I HAVE NEVER GOT A LEAD OF ANY SORT FROM MY EFFORTS ON ACTIVE RAIN!!!

WHAT AM I DOING WRONG???

I would appreciate your input as to how I can go about creating leads from using Active Rain. I feel like I do a pretty good job, but am not having any success! Can you point me in the write direction, so I can turn Activerain into a lead generating machine???

Hi Kevin.  Welcome to Active Rain.

My first thoughts for you is that it will take a bit of time.  Looking at your blogging history, you have only become active the last few weeks...

Hang in there.  My best lead generating posts are local area market reports.  Again, even these will take time.

Keep posting, but don't stop your other lead generation tactics...

Looks like you are working on market reports.  That is good.  Still takes time.

You never know what post will generate a call...

Pictures are always nice.

Good luck,

Ken

Hi and welcome.  I'm new at this too.  It's taking TIME just to learn the mechanics of it all.  The Active Rain University classes are POWERFUL....the new on-line manual is also helpful.  I'm just getting into the rythm of it all...I find blogging like planting a garden.  Each post is a little seed....then, check back on the statistics and see how many hits you are getting....hopefully, one day the blogging efforts will fall into the right hands..and somebody will call....I'm still waiting too for that lead to come in, too.  Best wishes from Joye in Charleston, SC.

Localisms will bring the calls. If you work in the foreclosures market, post the schedule of trustee sales.

Hang in there.  It won't happen over night.  I just started blogging to the outside.  I'm #4 in my city with over 70,000 points.  It's not the points that get the leads, it's the content and doing localized posts.  Good luck
