Help bring the President to Blue Valley Northwest
Blue Valley Northwest is one of six high schools nationwide competing in the Race to the Top High School Commencement Challenge to have President Barack Obama as a commencement speaker and you can help BVNW get selected! Now through 10:59 p.m. CST on Thursday, April 29, the public is invited to view and rate a three-minute video and short essay from each of the six finalists at www.WhiteHouse.gov/Commencement. From the three high schools with the highest average ratings, President Obama will select the national winner. The winning school will be announced on May 4 and the President will deliver the commencement address this spring. Make sure you vote, encourage your personal and professional contacts to vote for BVN, and include the link in your Social Media communications.
