The Staging Fashionista just finished staging this occupied home in Ashburn, VA.  The homeowner and realtor were great to work with.  The homeowner will continue to live in the home while selling, therefore.  we had to work with the furnishings she had and after staging the realtor and homeowner loved it.  It was hard for her to part with her Alaska pillows but we put them in a safe place and told her she could use them in her new home.  Here is the before and after of the living room area.

Mannie, I really like the new furniture arrangement.  Putting the largest sofa on the largest wall made complete sense and looks far more balanced.  And yes, I prefer your pillows to the Alaskan version!

I like the position of the couch now, you have made the room have much better balance. Your pillows are very nice, you did the right thing having the others packed away...

Hi Mary Lou and Debra - thanx for stopping by and commenting.  I agree the room is much more balanced and comfortable.  Also changing the rug made a huge difference you can't really see it well but it didn't go with the furniture it had too much pink!
